Perspective Matcher

Perspective Matcher helps align a Blender camera to a still image when there is no video track. It uses perspective guide lines, vanishing points, focal length estimates, origin controls, and camera orientation tools.

Workflow steps

  1. Load a reference image.
  2. Start Perspective Match with an active camera.
  3. Drag red and green guide lines onto parallel real-world lines.
  4. Adjust origin and principal point settings if needed.
  5. Apply the computed camera perspective.

Important details

This is useful for architectural reference photos, product visualization, still-image VFX, and shots where a normal camera track is not available.

The tool can live-update the camera, show focal length in pixels and millimeters, support undo/redo inside the modal tool, and flip orientation around axes when needed.
