Workflow steps
- Import a camera tracking result.
- Select points or vertices that represent the real floor.
- Run Floor alignment to snap them to Blender world space.
- Use Flip when the result is upside down or the vertical axis is wrong.
- Rotate or fine-tune the parent object if needed.
Important details
Camera tracking systems often solve relative motion correctly but leave scale, orientation, and up direction arbitrary. Alignment makes the result easier to use for CG placement.
The YouTube breakdowns show this step repeatedly: point clouds are imported, cleaned, then aligned so roads, floors, and streets line up with the Blender grid.
