Move the camera through space
A tripod pan can look cinematic but still fail as a 3D camera solve because it has little or no translation. Walk, dolly, fly, or move the camera so nearby and faraway objects shift relative to each other.
Give the tracker visible features
Textured ground, building edges, cracks, stones, tree trunks, signs, windows, and surface detail all help. Featureless walls, sky, water, smoke, and heavy reflections can make tracking harder.
Reduce blur and unstable exposure
Use a shutter speed that keeps details crisp enough to track. Avoid sudden whip movements, extreme rolling shutter, large exposure jumps, and compression artifacts when possible.
